Education
After graduating from Broken Arrow Public Schools in 2009, I completed my Associates Degree from Tulsa Community College. I continued my education degree in Broken Arrow at Northeastern State University with my Bachelors Degree in elementary education. I am in the process of completing my full severe and profound special education certification as well.
Experience
Throughout college I volunteered at with teachers and support staff at Arrow Springs Elementary in Broken Arrow. I also interned with middle schoolers in Keystone Public Schools, 1st graders at Jenks East Elementary, and 4th grade at Indian Springs Elementary in Broken Arrow. I currently work at Country Lane Intermediate teaching 5th grade math, science, and social studies. In the summers I work with special needs middle schoolers from across the Broken Arrow district. I have also played flute for 13 years in a variety of settings- concert band, orchestra, marching band, regional contests, solos, ensembles, and church performances.

Hobbies
I enjoy reading fantasy and historical fiction novels. Some of my favorite series include Harry Potter, Twilight, House of Night, and Hunger Games. In the summer I love to be outside walking or swimming. It's a great time to relax and spend time with God. My husband and I love to travel, too. We plan to visit all 50 states, but our favorite place to go is St. Louis. We are big Cardinal fans. When we aren't traveling we have lots of family and friends over and play trivia games.
