Education
After graduating from Broken Arrow Public Schools in 2009, I completed my Associates Degree from Tulsa Community College. I continued my education degree in Broken Arrow at Northeastern State University with my Bachelors Degree in elementary education. I am in the process of completing my full severe and profound special education certification as well.
Experience
Throughout college I volunteered at with teachers and support staff at Arrow Springs Elementary in Broken Arrow. I also interned with middle schoolers in Keystone Public Schools, 1st graders at Jenks East Elementary, and 4th grade at Indian Springs Elementary in Broken Arrow. I currently work at Country Lane Intermediate teaching 5th grade math, science, and social studies. In the summers I work with special needs middle schoolers from across the Broken Arrow district. I have also played flute for 13 years in a variety of settings- concert band, orchestra, marching band, regional contests, solos, ensembles, and church performances.
